Message from the Team Captain
Hey everyone!! I created this team two years ago because my daughter, Savannah, was born 15 weeks prematurely. After three hard months in the hospital, she came at a healthy 7 lbs. Today she is 3 years old and a giant bundle of energy! She's our little performer, always dancing and singing, and loves gymnastics! We also had another preemie in the family almost five years ago. My niece, Brynne, was born 5 weeks early and spent 2 weeks in the NICU. Today, Brynne is a healthy preschooler who LOVES arts and crafts! Unfortunately, not all babies are as lucky. I wanted to create this team to help spread the awareness of prematurity, and to raise money for research. I''d love for you to join the team, but if walking isn''t your thing, sponsoring us would be great as well! Every little bit helps when it comes to saving precious lives.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
