Well, we made it! The Orvis family finished our 14th Walk event for the March of Dimes! It was a lousy day for a walk (very cool and overcast), but a great day for the March of Dimes. Our golden retriever Joch joined us again, and each of us took a turn at being dragged along the course.

Last year, we raised several thousand dollars after the Walk was over. Fortunately, IT′S NOT TOO LATE TO GIVE IF YOU′D LIKE TO SUPPORT OUR CAUSE! Donations have been coming in all week, and can still be accepted for the next week or two to count towards our final numbers with the March of Dimes. Along with the bad weather came poor attendance, so the March of Dimes is counting on efforts like ours even more this year. Hopefully we can exceed our family goal of $6,000!

If you haven′t already done so, and would still like to, you may make a donation via credit card, or pledge a cash/check donation (Just indicate your pledge and mail me a check made out to the March of Dimes at your earliest convenience.)

And, if your company has a matching program, you can make your donation twice as nice! Check out this web site for more details. We received over $600 in matching funds so far this year. It′s great that so many employers support their employees with matching gift programs!
